THe Fine Art Pathway is another venture in our joint-mission for sustained academic and career development across all grade levels.  This is just another example of our work with Middlesex Community College and University of Massachusetts Lowell.  Embodying the phrase inscribed on Lowell’s historic City Seal, “Art is the Handmaid of Human Good,” this pathway will allow students to learn in and through the arts and to develop their artistic potential through a rigorous Fine Art education across all grade levels.

Recently, many members of the higher education community in Lowell have come out vocally in support of our work together.  Visit Richard Howe's blog to see a recent You Tube video of some of our community partners stressing the importance of sustaining our vibrant partnerships and continuing to develop long term relationships that benefit our students and the citizens of Lowell.

The Lowell Public Schools actively works with community and school partners to prepare all of our students for 21st century success.  In order for our students to excel and to be prepared for college, career and citizenship, it's up to all of us; community organizations, parents, institutions of higher education and all members of the community to engage, challenge and inspire our students.
