Philosophy
The Lowell Special Education department’s philosophy is consistent with the Federal and State special education guidelines. We will provide quality education for all with learning opportunities geared to individual needs of students, which maximize the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical potential of the learner in a safe, nurturing and least restrictive environment. We will foster respect and appreciation for cultural diversity through collaboration of staff, students, families and the community.
