Characteristics: The Butler Middle School places emphasis on the academic and emotional growth of all its students. As a school with a theme of technology, Butler students develop technological skills in the context of a rigorous academic program.

Over the years, grant funding has supported a multitude of innovative academic programs. The 21st Century Grant enables the Butler School to extend the dailey learning program to include after school academics, homework support, and enrichment activities.

The Butler Middle School counts parental and family participation as integral to the whole school program. An active parent center and PTO provide several opporunities each month for family involvement.

The Butler School Cambodian New Year Performance, and other school-wide performances and exhibitions celebrate a rich culture and support high academic standards. The Butler school embraces an inclusion model for the delivery of Special Education services and a sheltered instruction model for its ELE population.
