Work Permit Information
Work permits are available from the Family Resource Center for Lowell High school students, students ages 14-17 who attend Lowell Public Schools, and students who are Lowell residents and attend a private or charter school.
WORK PERMITS are issued in person, Monday - Friday, after 2:00pm. In order to be issued a work permit, students will need to come into the Family Resource Center and submit their completed two-page permit application and proof of age (one of the following: birth certificate, driver's license, driver's permit, or passport.)
Important:
- The student must be present for the permit to be issued
- The employer must sign the permit PRIOR to Lowell Public Schools issuing the permit.
- If you need the paperwork for your employer to complete, please download from our website.
