SoarMA is Treasurer Deborah B. Goldberg’s two-year pilot college savings program open to the families of 7th and 8th grade students at Stoklosa Middle School. This initiative is designed to help parents in our community save for postsecondary education and training. Funded through public-private partnerships, SoarMA provides an initial deposit of $50 towards a 529 college savings account and a free financial education curriculum. During the first year of enrollment, families can have their savings matched up to $400 by the program.
In addition, we offer free monthly workshops at Stoklosa Middle School that help families plan for their financial future.
