• Unlike other schools, the parent liaison position at the Washington is a staff member who fulfills the role instead of a dedicated full or part time position.Our parent liaison is a special education teacher at our school, Ms. Reidt.

    As parent liaison she participates in PTO and School Site Council. Additionally, Ms. Reidt prepares paper and electronic communications for parents, coordinates fundraisers and some of the many school wide events for children and their parents.

Ms. Reidt

Ms. Reidt has worked in the field of Early Childhood education for more than twenty years and has served as a public school teacher for the past eleven. She has worked as a classroom teacher in both first and second grades, a middle school special education teacher, and outside of the classroom worked for Early Intervention and Head Start programs. As well, she was the director of a college laboratory school.
