Important SNAP Benefits Update!

Due to the federal government shutdown, there is a chance that November SNAP benefits may not be issued.

What’s still Available

  • WIC, School Meals, HIP, TAFDC, EAEDC
  • Local food pantries and meal programs

If you need immediate assistance: PROJECT BREAD FoodSource Hotline: 1-800-645-8333

Keeping $0.01 on your EBT Card keeps HIP working

The Healthy Initiatives Program (HIP) gives fruits and vegetables when you shop at participating farmer’s markets and stays active even if SNAP is paused.

We would like to share with you that the Merrimack Valley Food Bank will be increasing their food distributions to elementary schools.

They currently receive take-home bags every other Friday, and now they will be distributing them every Friday for the month of November except for Thanksgiving week.

The MVFB will fill the cabinets in the schools that have in-school pantries. Every school has food resources.

Any monies that are currently on your EBT card will roll over.

Please reach out to your school social worker if you need additional support.
