LPS Preschool Lottery Info

 

The Lowell Public Schools held the preschool lottery on Monday, May 3 at 6pm via Zoom. The lottery was the first step in the preschool assignment process. A randomly assigned number was issued to each student's pre-registration number and then the lottery was run to determine the proposed school assignment for each pre-registered student.

 

If you would like to observe the lottery process, watch the video embedded below. No personal information or specific school assignment was provided during this lottery.

 

Following the lottery, pre-registered families will receive written notification providing the student's lottery number and their proposed school assignment by May 14. This email will also include details on the next steps that need to be taken in order to accept or reject the proposed school assignment.
