    EXPECTED WORK:  Expected work for all grades as designed by the LPS Curriculum Department:  Complete the DISTRICT PACKET and read daily.

     Please Note:  If you are struggling with the district packet, log on to iReady Math or Lexia for ELA or choose a lower grade level packet. 

    ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES:  Complete 15 minutes per day of Lexia or i-Ready ELA and 15 minutes per day of IReady Math (goal 75 minutes of each per week)

    This survey is for you to provide feedback on our emergency school closure and to understand your concerns about the potential reopening of school buildings, the possible continuation of remote learning from home, and the possibility of a model that blends both time in the building and time at home.

    Superintendent of Schools Dr. Joel Boyd addressed the district's ongoing efforts to combat racism in a letter sent to Lowell Public Schools families and staff.

  • New School Leaders for Lowell High & Sullivan Middle School

    Superintendent Boyd has announced that Michael Fiato has been appointed Head of School for Lowell High School​ and that Ian Charles has been appointed principal of the James Sullivan Middle School.

  • Lowell High School Graduation Ceremony Announced for Class of 2020

    The Lowell Public Schools and the City of Lowell are pleased to announce that the Lowell High School Class of 2020 in-person graduation has been scheduled for July 21st and July 22nd (rain dates of July 23rd and July 24th) at Edward A. LeLacheur Park.

  • Registration Info for the 2020-2021 School Year

    The registration period will start on May 26 for Kindergarten, Preschool, and for all students entering grades 1-12 who are new to the district. Registration will now be done online.

    Lowell Public Schools, Project Learn, and UMass Lowell College of Education are committed to recruiting, supporting and retaining educators of color who represent the racial and ethnic backgrounds of the students and communities LPS serves. This initiative offers an opportunity to develop a cohort of teachers of excellence who become teacher leaders within LPS.
