Revised School waitlist policy:
The policy has been revised with three objectives.
- Ensure students are placed in one of the three schools selected by the family.
- Establish clear and transparent procedures for the waitlist.
- Move students off of the waitlist in a timely manner.
As per the new policy, the first step to implementing the revised waitlist is for families to submit in writing whether they wish to remain on the waitlist.
Written requests to remain on the waitlist (postal mail or email) must be received no later than May 21, 2018 to the Family resource Center Coordinator.
The second step, for families wishing to remain on the waitlist, is to ensure their telephone numbers are current with the Family Rasouce center. Please provide the Family Resource Center at 151 Merriamck Street with your current phone number by May 21st.
Informational sessions will be scheduled and posted on the Family Resource Center website and Facebook.
