    2024-25 CLASS REGISTRATION:

    ESOL and HSE Class Registration is OPEN.  Use the links above to open the form.  

     

    • Registration is NOT a guarantee of enrollment. 
      • Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis.  
      • Due to circumstances beyond our control, you may be placed on a Waiting List and we may need to adjust our class schedule. 

     

    • To enroll in ESOL Classes, you must: 
      • Be at least 18 years of age
      • Have a photo ID
      • Have a proof of address with your name and address in the Greater Lowell area*.

     

    • To enroll in HSE Classes, you must:
      • Be at least 16 years old.  If you are under 18 years old, you must have a formal withdrawal letter from the last school you attended.
      • Have a photo ID
      • Have a proof of address with your name and address in the Greater Lowell area*.

    *The Greater Lowell area includes: Lowell, Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Dunstable, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro and Westford. 

     

    TEST CENTER NEWS:

    We are an official Test Center for GED (computer only) and HiSET (Paper and Computer Based) Exams for Massachusetts residents.  Regular appointments are self-scheduled through your vendor account (at www.ged.com or www.hiset.org).  If you have been approved for Special Accommodations, you must contact the vendor to schedule your test appointments.

    GED and HiSET Paper Testing appointments are available one weekend a month, on a Friday evening and Saturday morning. If desired, multiple tests can be scheduled across the two days.  Upcoming dates are:

    • September 20th/21st
    • October 18th/19th
    • November 22nd/23rd

    HiSET Computer Testing and GED Testing appointments are available on some Thursday afternoons @12:30.   One subject test, per session, may be scheduled.

    • HiSET - Oct 24th/Nov 7th/Dec 5th
    • GED - Nov 21st/Dec 12th

  • GED and HiSET TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS

    All credentials and transcripts must be ordered from  DiplomaSender.com

    Recent graduates must order their first set of documents consisting of the official Credential and Transcript.  There is no charge for that set. 

    Additional copies of the transcript can be ordered for a fee.  Please contact Diploma Sender for specific details.

    The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) notified the Lowell Health Department that West Nile virus (WNV) has been deteched in mosquitos collected in the South Lowell/Highlands sections of Lowell, Massachusetts.

    Wendy Crocker-Roberge comes into this role having served in the 2023-2024 school year with great success as the Interim Chief Schools Officer, the former name for this position.
