All students must receive a current flu vaccination by December 31, 2020. This includes students enrolled in both in-person and remote learning. Join Superintendent Boyd and the LPS leadership team on Jan. 12 or Jan. 13 for a virtual info session. These sessions will give you a chance to receive some important updates related to COVID-19, remote learning, and goals for returning to in-person learning.

Given the continued rising number of COVID-19 cases here in Lowell, when school resumes after the winter vacation on Monday, January 4, 2021, all LPS students will continue in remote learning.
If there is inclement weather, we now have the option of having a “Full Remote Learning Day” that would count towards the required number of learning days.
During the school vacation week, we are offering grab and go meal service at the STEM Academy (43 Highland St.) on Mon., Tues. & Wed. from 11am-1pm. This meal site will be closed on Thurs. & Fri.
The LPS Technology Help Desk will be setting up service tents to provide assistance with your LPS-issued device.
The Lowell Latin Lyceum program at LHS is for students seeking an academically rigorous college prep program delivered in a small-school model. Current 8th Graders are eligible to apply for the 2021-2022 school year.
LPS is partnering with CVS to provide 14 flu shot clinics between December 5-15. Massachusetts has mandated that all children attending school in grades PreK-12 must receive a current flu vaccination by December 31, 2020.
