Mrs. Burns

Hi! My name is Dale Burns and I have been working at Pawtucketville since 2007. This will be my 10th year teaching first grade! When I’m not in school, you can find me at the soccer field, basketball court, and baseball field cheering on our 3 boys who keep us very busy! We also have Tucker, our four legged baby who loves to go on walks.

Pawtucketville is my home away from home, and each year I look forward to getting to know our first graders and see all they will accomplish!

Mrs. Hunt

Hi, my name is Tara Hunt. I have been teaching for 26 years!  23 of those wonderful years have been in the 1st grade at Pawtucketville Memorial.  When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Rob, and my three children, twins Meghan and Keegan (16) and my daughter Delaney (13). I love attending all their sporting events. When not in school, I can be found in a hockey rink, at a cross-country meet, a softball field, or a dance studio!   I love going to the beach, especially Cape Cod, traveling, hanging out with friends, dancing, and shopping.  As a teacher, I love watching my students grow.  I enjoy making their learning experience fun and memorable.

Mrs. Shelton

Hi, my name is Kerri Shelton. This is my 11th year teaching! I’ve been teaching at Pawtucketville for seven years now and I absolutely love first grade. My ultimate goal is to ensure all my students have a wonderful learning experience and that I’m a positive role model for them. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My daughter Cece (1.5), husband Ryan, and 5-year-old goldendoodle Meeko are my whole world! I love to sing, dance, go to the beach and the lake.
