    Behavior Intervention at the Robinson

Positive Behavioral, Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a program that has a two-pronged approach, acknowledging positive behaviors and providing interventions and; support around undesired behaviors.  The Robinson provides numerous incentives to all students (incentive nights as a reward for positive behaviors as implemented through a stamping program, EAGLE Wings to recognize positive behaviors, Students of the Month, and others).  Interventions and support are implemented on the basis of behavior trends tracked throughout the building utilizing the SWIS database.  Tracking trends utilizing a database allows focused interventions and support around times, locations, behaviors, etc.   Additionally, individual interventions and support are provided to students as needed.
