Room 2 - Elementary School
Teacher: Sarah Foster
My name is Sarah Foster and I teach grades K-4 at the Laura Lee. I graduated from UMASS Lowell and earned a Master’s Degree in education from American International College. I’ve worked with students with emotional and behavioral difficulties for the last ten years and am currently in my fifth year teaching at the Laura Lee. I am the school garden coordinator through Mill City Grows, helping students connect the classroom lesson plans with real world activities through a student-run garden located on school grounds. In my classroom I promote the belief that all
children can and should succeed, but that some find success in different ways. I am to help students gain the confidence they will need to get through the school year, and future years to come.
In my spare time I enjoy running, reading and spending time with my husband and our two cats. We are expecting our first child in March!
Students in my class range from grades K-4. We are a dynamic group that enjoys crafts and spending time outside. We are always working hard on our academics, and like to have fun in the process!
