Our School Garden
Transformed from a vacant lot, Lincoln’s school garden now has fourteen garden beds! Each garden bed belongs to two classes at the Lincoln. The classes plant their garden bed and watch it grow! When the plants are fully grown, the Lincoln students have a chance to try fruits and vegetables fresh from the garden through cafeteria taste tests and cooking in the classroom. As a FoodCorps school, the school garden is one way that the Lincoln demonstrates their commitment to having a healthy school environment!
