Mrs. Villeneuve

My name is Genevieve Villeneuve and I have been working with students for 31 years; starting as a student assistant in High School at the After-School program in Chelmsford, then I worked at the Lowell Boys and Girls Club in College, and as a public and private school teacher for 20 years since then. I have taught everything from infants to college (including Special Education, ELL, and Project Based Learning), but particularly love 3rd grade. This is my 6th year in Lowell and my second year as a 3rd grade teacher at the Shaughnessy. I like to coach and have coached soccer, baseball, cheerleading, and Destination Imagination.  I have 5 children and 2 cats.  All of my children have literary or musical names.  Everyone in our house plays instruments, and we love records and going to concerts.  In our spare time, my family likes to camp, hike, jeep, play soccer, and board games.  Boggle is my favorite.  I also enjoy reading, quilting, cooking, and painting.
