I am Ellen Hilbrunner and this is my second year at the Shaughnessy.  I have taught in Lowell for 12 years, and 32 years overall. I have taught in grades K-4, content literacy, art, ESL, behavior classrooms and museum education.  I have a Masters in Education, National Board Certification for grades 2 - 5, and Certification in Teaching Talented & Gifted Students. I live with my son Nick and our 3 year old Golden Retriever, Skye. In my spare time I like to go north to our family weekend house, garden, and do all sorts of crafts.  I am excited to be a Shaughnessy Shark!

Hi! I am Ms. Ashworth! This is my 11th year teaching. I have taught fourth grade for the majority of my career in both Lowell and Lawrence, MA. I love hiking, being at the lake, friends, family and traveling! I am so excited to be at the Shaughnessy this year with my amazing class!

Hi, I'm Mr. Cotta. This is my first year at the Shaughnessy. The past 11 years I was at McAvinnue, in both 2nd and 4th grade. I am a career change - prior to teaching I was in marketing. A majority of my free time is spent coaching baseball. I have been a coach in Chelmsford for the past 16 years. I also like to golf and go camping with my family and friends. I am excited to be a new member of the Shaughnessy community! GO SHARKS!

Hi, I'm Ms. Ewing. This is my 14th year teaching. I started my teaching career in Namibia, Africa for two years. I have taught many grades. I was previously at the Butler Middle School after 9 years teaching 6th grade. I love the elementary level and I think this will be the best year yet. I have a cat named Fleurette at home she’s wonderful. GO SHARKS!
