Hi, I'm Despena Zouzas Balboni, and this is my third year as a CSA teacher at the Shaughnessy!
After teaching middle school students for 5 years in grades 6–8, I have been enjoying the fresh perspective and energy of working with 3rd and 4th graders. Outside the classroom, I love going for walks, reading, writing, cooking, and traveling! Exploring new places always inspires me. I live in Chelmsford with my husband and our two cats, Mabel and Moo. I'm excited for another great year of learning and growth with our amazing students!

Hi, I’m Jo Raymond. This is my fifth year at the Shaughnessy as a para for the grade 3+4 CSA team. I’m from Lowell, and I live with my mom and 2 cats, Boo and Poppy. I enjoy taking care of my plants, doing arts and crafts projects, cooking/baking, and relaxing at home with a good book or finding something to watch on TV.

Hey There. My name is Amanda. This is my 4th year at the Shaughnessy as a CSA Para. I was born and raised in Lowell. I live with my Husband Brian, my 3 beautiful kids, my 3 dogs, & many more pets! On my spare time I love to cook, read, and go camping. My family and I mainly enjoy traveling together. Can't wait for another wonderful year!

Hi I’m Jean McDermott and this is my 15th year as a paraprofessional with the Lowell Public Schools.  I enjoy visiting the White Mountains and Lake region area. Some of my hobbies include cooking and going to concerts! I live in Tewksbury MA with my husband, two sons and our dog Zeus!
