21st CENTURY AFTER SCHOOL 

As one of the largest grantees of the 21st Century grant in Massachusetts, Lowell Public Schools provide a free after-school academic and enrichment program to more than 1,400 students 2 afternoons each week.  Students receive help with homework and participate in engaging programming to support learning.  Students are also provided dinner each afternoon before heading home.  In the summer, each of the 21st Century programs offers a free 4-week program to provide students with a chance to have fun while preventing summer learning loss.
