Mrs. Quiles
My name is Diana Quiles and I teach English as a second language. I am originally from Colombia. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy with concentrations in English and Spanish. I have two years of experience teaching full time in elementary school and part time at the British International Institute in Bogota, Colombia. I taught all subjects including English. After I moved to the U.S, I earned my ESL license. I have four years of experience working as an Elementary and Middle School Spanish and ESL teacher in Lowell. This is my second year as an ELL teacher and I am very excited to be working with elementary students. I really enjoy watching my ELL students acquiring the language they need and creating a relationship with them.
My family and I live in Lowell and when I am not at the Morey School, I enjoy reading, traveling, meeting new places, going to museums, and spending time with my family.
