Kimberly Budryk

Hi my name is Mrs. Budryk.  I am a 6th grade ELA & SS teacher.  I've been teaching at the Wang Middle School for 15 years and 2 years prior I was at the McAvinnue School.

My goal this year is to have my students leave grade six with a love and passion for reading!  I can't wait until we read my favorite novel Milkweed in our historical fiction unit. Kids you will love this story!

When I am not at the Wang teaching you can find me following the sun at the beach, swimming & paddle boarding.  I also love running, biking or just hanging out with my dog "Cooper".

Hi, I am John King.  I grew up in Townsend, on a small farm.  One of my goals is to help students understand where their food comes from.  To help with this, I have built the greenhouse, with the help of the kids here at the Wang.  I also enjoy nature which is where the idea of the Lion’s Den came from.  For those who don’t know the Lion’s Den is a small nature area in the back of the school.  The area is used by many teachers for not only science education, but for quiet reading, and mindfulness activities.  My favorite time of the year is now, in the fall as things are being brought in from the garden, and the air is cooler.  I also love the late winter, and early spring when we are making maple sugar at the school.  I guess that the only season that don’t like is the summer, I HATE THE HEAT!!!!
