Matthew Santy

My name is Matthew Santy and I am thrilled to be the Assistant Principal here at the Wang Middle School! I have been working at the Wang School since 2006.  When I first started here, I was a 7th and 8th grade Special Education Teacher.  In 2012 I took on a different role and became a 5th grade math teacher.  Teaching math was what I always wanted to do and I loved working with the 5th graders!  I then transitioned into the role of Math Resource Teacher for three years. In that position I was lucky enough to work with everyone that teaches and learns math in the building!  When I’m not at the Wang School, I love to spend time with my wife and two daughters.  We enjoy spending time outside and taking trips to Disney!  I consider myself very lucky to be a part of the Wang School!

Danielle Collins

Hi, my name is Danielle Collins. I have worked in Lowell Public Schools for the past 23 years. 15 years as a 7th and 8th grade Social Studies teacher and the last seven years as the Instructional Specialist at the Wang.  I am very excited to start my new role as an Assistant Principal this year at the Wang. Lowell means a lot to me, as I was born and raised here and received my degrees in history (Bachelor’s), Curriculum and Instruction (Master’s) and Reading and Language (C.A.G.S.) from the University of MA Lowell. I believe in the importance of education and the powerful impact it can have on our kids.

Meghan Montour

Hi, my name is Meghan Montour and I am the ETC at Wang School. Previously, I was a 7th and 8th grade special education teacher at the Wang Middle School. Growing up in Lowell, made teaching here a natural choice. Educating and empowering students to take more academic risks has been a focus in my work over the past 14 years.

When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my amazing daughter and husband, our dog, and flock of chickens. Being a parent has truly highlighted the importance of a child’s time at school and the relationships that are built between families and school. I’m looking forward to another great year here at the Wang!
