Guidance Counselor & 504 Coordinator

My role as Guidance Counselor is to help students become successful academically. As the 504 Coordinator, I also oversee students with 504 plans and accommodations. I help to support students with study habits, time management, and test-taking strategies. I work with students throughout the high school application process and help to create a college-bound culture. As a former school and college counselor at the high school level and mom of two college-age students myself, I want each student to set themselves up for success in middle school and beyond.

PBIS & School Culture Teacher

As the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Teacher at Butler Middle School, I am dedicated to supporting students' academic and emotional success. I firmly believe that this is a collective effort, and I commit to working with the entire school community to create and maintain a productive and safe environment. It is crucial that all members understand and follow the shared behavior expectations, as this is a responsibility we all share. Through positive recognition and continual teaching of expectations, students will experience academic and social growth.
