Monday Programs
1.Japanese Ms. Glasser Monday
Students will learn introductory Japanese, developing a foundation of basic phrases, vocabulary and grammar. Students will also learn about Japanese culture by; trying snacks,games and movies!
2. SNL-Soccer League Sports with Merrimack College Monday
Join the college student athletes with Saturday Night Lights for an intramural and skills building soccer league.
3. Karaoke Club Mr. Fugarino Monday
Enjoy singing with others while developing your vocal skills and styles. Emphasis will also be on individual vocal development..
4. Tutoring Center/Homework club Monday
Work with a variety of staff and trained peer tutors after school on your homework, ongoing projects and to get individualized help in all academic areas.
5. Taekwondo Mr. Freddy Monday
Do you want to learn self-defense or just get in shape? Then join Master Freddy Zuluag from Lowell Taekwondo as he teaches you to take control of your mind and body. 3pm- 4pm
6. Cooking & Gardening Mill City Grows Monday
Want to be the next Great Chef? Join Mills City Grows and spend time cooking and gardening. We will plant and harvest in our Butler School Garden and prepare healthy snacks and meals.
7. STEM Club - Science Fair (6th-8th grade) Mr. Freeman Monday
Join Mr Freeman and prepare for this year's district wide science fair! Space is limited and students interested in this will need to complete an additional permission form in order to get selected into this program and attend a field trip to the Science Fair at Lowell High School on February 13th. Registration for this program ends on January 8th. The group will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays until the Science Fair.
8. Lyons Club Ms Majors Monday
Have hobbies or talents you want to build on while making new friends through fun icebreakers,candy tasting during movement breaks? This is the program for you students will explore a variety of topics that include music engineering.
9. Let’s Get Real Art Club Monday
Art projects combining students' real world experiences with various collage techniques to share stories that help shape more positive outcomes.
10. Cheerleading Monday
Join the cheerleading team! Students on the team will also have the opportunity to cheer at home games. Led by SNL college students who are members of their cheer squad.This cheer style will focus just on verbal cheer there will be NO tumbling, flips etc. Students are strongly encouraged to be at both practices
11. Architectural Club Monday
Interested in designing or building buildings? Come spend the afternoon learning architectural drafting/building skills. Using these skills you will design a 2-story house on paper then you will build to scale your house you designed using cardboard. Advance designs are available for those students who have taken the class before. All are welcome!

SNL Cheerleading Tuesday
Join the cheerleading team! Students on the team will also have the opportunity to cheer at home games. JEDI Mrs Swepson Tuesday
Our school believes student voice and agency is valuable to student academic success. Our school core values are centered around diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.Furthermore, these same students need to know that their peers and school staff accept them for who they are. Become a JEDI! school leadership and field trip opportunities. 3-4pm

SNL-Volleyball Sports with Merrimack College Tuesday
Join the college student athletes with Saturday Night Lights for sports in the gym. Students will play volleyball against each other! Students who join this program have the opportunity to attend games.

Music-Band Mr. Fugarino Tuesday
Learn to make music together as we learn to play instruments of brass, woodwind and percussion. Develop skills to perform instrumental music alone and together in concerts, and school functions.

Lyon’s Club Tuesday
Find your musical connection! We will be teaching and discussing character development skills as well as identifying and practicing our talents & hobbies such as music engineering (create your own beats), spoken word all what many call the performing arts!

Self Discovery Quest Tuesday
Embark on a journey of self-discovery with the Center for Hope and Healing! Join our interactive workshop, blending art, brave conversations, and fun movement activities to explore new frontiers in relationships—with yourself and others. Leave equipped with enhanced self-care skills and a deeper understanding of connections. Open to all who seek personal growth and community building! This club also consist of several phone breaks for students who would like this opportunity

Knitting and Crocheting Ms. Horn Wednesday
Ms. Horn is back with her yarn, needles and hooks ready to help you create beautiful things! Join her to learn how to make hats, scarves and bags!

SNL -TeamSkills/Free Play Sports with Merrimack College Wednesday
Join us for a variety of skillbuilding games you may have seen on Tik Tok. Join the SNL college students for a variety of team building mini games,free play and field day style fun in the winter!

Nature Explorers Thursday
Love nature and hands-on learning and connecting with the environment around you. Students joining this program will receive live animal visits, outdoor scavenger hunt, field trips and more! Program aligns with the science curriculum
2. SNL-Basketball Sports with Merrimack College Thursday
Please join, the college student athletes with Saturday Night Lights for basketball games and skills practice practice *In order to play in any future intramural league, you must sign up for SNL- through 21st Century
3. Learn Khmer! (language class) Thursday
Join Mrs Horm as she teaches students the Khmer alphabet and numbers. This is great for students who would like to learn the foundation of the Khmer language. Mrs Horm is excited to explore her Cambodian culture with all of you!

Calling all gamers! this is the club for you, ever wanted to play video games in school with friends? Join Elevate for a variety of activities that help guide students to career pathways and explore a variety of life skills in a fun engaging way.
