Tuesday Programs
Archery Green Dragons Tuesday
The Green Dragons are back! Get ready to learn traditional skills of archery. You will learn how to use wood bows and feathered arrows, shot right off the rest of the hand; no sights, no stabilizers. We also play Archery Tag where archery meets martial arts and combat strategy.
Band Mr. Fugerino Tuesday
Learn skills on a musical instrument -trumpet-trombone-clarinet, saxophone,flute, percussion etc while experiencing the feeling of accomplishment as you perform with others in a large group for an audience ! Performance and Showcase opportunities
Board Games Ms. Capezio Tuesday
Join Ms. Capezio for an opportunity to learn new board games, including chess! Students will spend part of the time learning how to navigate a chess board, including all the pieces and how they move. Then, you will have time to play against an opponent in the class. At the end, time will be allocated for students to free play a range of games from UNO, CONNECT 4, BLINK, GO FISH, CHUTES & LADDERS, and CANDY LAND. Cap of 10 students.
Elevate Elevate New England Tuesday
Join the group from Elevate New England as they use games and role-play to learn about self-advocacy and peer relations.

Kids in Tech Ms. Tucker Tuesday
Do you like to build and create? Learn the basics of engineering and design with lots of hands-on building! Also, are you interested in Filmmaking? In Kids in Tech you will also learn about filmmaking, circuits and electricity. ONLY SIGN UP FOR 1 Day of Kids N Tech!
Sign Language Ms. Cooper Tuesday
Ms. Cooper is back teaching ASL! Learn the American Sign Language alphabet as well as basic conversation.
SNL-Flag Football Sports with Merrimack College Tuesday
Join the college student athletes with Saturday Night Lights and Coach Q for sports in the gym. Students will play Flag-Football against each other! 1/31/22 SNL students will be spectators at our Butler Volleyball Game instead of the usual SNL.
Tutoring Center Tuesday
Work with a variety of staff after school on your homework, ongoing projects and to get individualized help in all academic areas.
The second session of after-school programs runs from January 17th - March 17th from 3-5pm
After-school forms were handed out to students. If your student needs another packet, they can pick them up in the main office.

Wednesday Programs
Afternoon in the Arts Ms. Johnston Wednesday
Join us for quality instruction and fun with friends! Learn more about the violin, viola, cello and double base! Free loaner instruments are available! Plus bus transportation is provided to LHS, snacks and food are provided. Program goes from 4-6pm at LHS. Parents have to pick up students at LHS at 6pm
Cooking & Gardening Mill City Grows Wednesday
Want to be the next Great Chef? Join Ms. Michaella and spend time in the Butler garden planting, weeding, harvesting, and preparing and eating healthy food. Cap of 20 students.
Eco-Warriors Ms. Andrews Wednesday
Band together and go green! By our powers combined, we will take action to care for the school inside and out. We'll be picking up trash and recycling, designing school-wide green campaigns, learning from other programs and activists, and leaving everywhere we go better than how we find it. If you want to take care of the environment, this is the program for you!

SAGA Lowell Community Health Center Wednesday A discussion group for ALL students who want a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ+ students and their allies. During our meetings, we talk together, support each other, and work on spreading awareness and acceptance in our school community. We also organize yearly events such as the National Day of Silence!
SNL-Sports Sports with Merrimack College Wednesday
Join the college student athletes with Saturday Night Lights and Coach Q for sports! We will be in the cafeteria or outside for skill work and games as we learn strategies for basketball, soccer, and other fun sports! CAP of 30 students
Step Team UMASS Lowell Step Team Wednesday
Come join the Step Team formed in session 1! STEP is a form of body art/percussion, used to represent the deep,rich and meaningful cultures of Africa. Students interested in joining the team will focus on building community and strengthening the TEAM. Students who are interested must attend all practices. This is an amazing opportunity to learn Step Routines as they Step, Stomp, Clap and unite as a team!

Bucket and Drum Ensemble Mr. Fugerino Thursday
Learn rhythmic techniques and drumming skills, be a part of performance and showcase opportunities!
Fiber Arts Ms. Andrews Thursday
Artists will be exploring a variety of fiber techniques, from indigo dye to weaving to string art and embroidery to sewing plushies! We'll be inspired by artists who make fiber art, practice different methods every week, and contribute to a large collaborative weaving to put on display in the school!
Jewelry Making Ms. Lagou Thursday
Love jewelry? Join Ms. Lagou as she helps you create your own bracelets and earrings using beads, embroidery thread and your creativity!

Scoop of Adri! Ms. Martin Thursday
A Scoop of Adri is a S.T.E.A.M.-focused, anti-bullying after-school program that involves the use of ice cream as a means to explore identity. Students will be able to showcase their creativity and highlight their personality through their ice cream flavor creation. Students incorporate expressive art through the use of marketing and design. The program seeks to provide a positive experience for students impacted by bullying. The curriculum is focused on identity, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. Grade 6-8 only

Watercolor Art Ms. Capezio Thursday
Join Ms. Capezio for water coloring. We will use a range of water color paints, papers and canvases to create watercolor scenes including sunsets, oceans, mountains, and deserts. Students will also have the occasion to use watercolors toward abstract painting, following themes that are agreed upon within the group. Water coloring is an expressive art; we will sometimes use distinct smells such as cinnamon, citrus, mint, and eucalyptus or selections of music to help us create a landscape of color and emotion. Cap of 10 students.

Friday Programs
Boxing Ms. Dunbar and Ms. Mann Friday
Expanding upon the boxing program started during gym classes with Mr. Boyle, Mr. Pearl, and Officer Marshall, this program will continue to promote physical fitness and build confidence through a safe and fun environment. Students will learn confrontation management skills and beginner boxing. Students will have the opportunity to sign up with friends and challenge themselves!
