I am a sixth year teacher at the Butler passionate about teaching science. This will be my first year teaching 8th grade and have taught 6th grade for the past 5 years. I try to make my classes as hands-on as possible to make sure students are learning and having fun at the same time! Before teaching I studied Biology at Boston College and have a master's in nutrition from Tufts University. Outside of work, I love cooking, gardening, exercising, and hanging out with my husband and 2-year old son.

This will be my 18th year as a Math teacher at the Butler Middle School. I was born and raised in Lowell and am happy that I now get to teach in the same community where I grew up! I am a proud mom of two young daughters and love spending time with my family.

Last year I was fortunate to work with a 7th grade Math class and excited to see some familiar faces in my classes!

This is my 7th year at the Butler. My love of teaching and passion for engaging our students civically makes waking up each morning a delight. When not at the Butler I spend time in the kitchen cooking for the people I love and with my wonderful little family, my wife Rebecca and my son Parker.
