• TRiO Program Overview

    The TRiO program is a federally funded initiative designed to provide educational opportunities and support services to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our goal is to help students succeed in higher education through various resources and personalized support.

    Services Provided:

    • Academic Advising: One-on-one guidance to help students navigate their academic journey.
    • Tutoring: Subject-specific tutoring to help students excel in their coursework.
    • Financial Aid Assistance: Help with FAFSA applications, scholarships, and financial literacy education.
    • College Preparation: Workshops and seminars on college admissions, essay writing, and test preparation.
    • Career Counseling: Guidance to explore career options and develop a career plan.
    • Mentoring: Connecting students with mentors who provide support and encouragement.
    • Cultural Enrichment: Activities and events that expose students to cultural and educational experiences.

    Eligibility: The TRiO program serves students who meet at least one of the following criteria:

    • First-generation college students
    • Low-income students
    • Students with disabilities
