Mrs. Hugo was born in Lowell and has lived here most of her life. She has worked in the Lowell Public Schools since 1999 but moved to the Washington in 2008, when the school she was working at closed. She spent a few years as a special education teacher before moving to grade 4. After 11 years as a fourth grade teacher, she took on the role of Literacy Specialist. She is certified to teach many things including elementary grades, English Language Learners, Special Education and Reading all the way through high school! When she is not working, her 3 children, Maddie, Lily and Jack, keep her busy! She is often found cheering them on at one of the many sports they play. In her spare time, she loves to read, go to the beach and spend time relaxing with her husband, kids and crazy dog, Yarmouth.
