Welcome to our Content Literacy Class! Mrs. Comtois teaches Content Literacy. She teaches all of the students in the school. The Content Literacy class focuses on Science and Social Studies instruction. Students learn about historical figures, engineering, computer science, life cycles and much more! Mrs. Comtois often invites experts to our school to help students understand the topics they are learning about.

Mrs. Comtois
Mrs. Comtois has been teaching since 2000. She graduated with her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education in 1999 from Salem State College. She went on to get her Masters degree from Fitchburg State College. She has a license in both Elementary Education and English Language Learning. Mrs. Comtois has been teaching Content Language Literacy at the Washington Elementary School since 2015. Prior to teaching here, she taught it at the Lincoln Elementary School.
Mrs. Comtois takes her love for teaching outside of the classroom as well. She has taught many children in the city of Lowell how to swim and sail. She has coached for the Lowell YMCA swim team as well as for Lowell Youth Soccer. Along with her husband and two kids she likes to keep busy outside.
