Hello, my name is Colleen Parrington, and I have been a special education teacher in the Lowell Public schools since 2007. Prior to coming to the Washington School in 2018, I worked at the Sullivan Middle School as a substantially separate 5th and 6th grade teacher for children with autism spectrum disorders. I also taught 7th and 8th graders in the same capacity there. In my current position, I have the privilege of providing special education services to students in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. I have also been a volunteer coach for the past 8 seasons for both of my children’s soccer teams.
When I’m not at school or on the soccer field, I like to spend time with my 2 daughters and my fiance. We love traveling, spending time at the beach, Cape Cod, and the White Mountains, and hanging out with our friends and extended family. I also enjoy photography, listening to music, and watching movies.
I’m really looking forward to working with you and your child this year, and am eager to watch them grow and achieve success. If you need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
