This is my second year as the School Psychologist at the Wang School and my third year working as a psychologist at Lowell Public Schools. Before settling in LowelI, I worked in Lawrence and Haverhill public schools. After my first year in Lowell, I knew this is where I was meant to be! am proud to be a member of the Wang Team and feel so very lucky to work with such a wonderful staff and an amazing student population. The Wang is truly a special place. In my free time, I love exploring new places with my dog, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on my niece and nephew at their sporting events.

Hello my name is Ashley Freker. I am one of the School Counselors. I have been here since February 2022. I have my bachelors in psychology and master of education in school counseling. My name is Nathan McCarthy. This is my 7th year at the Wang. I started as a paraprofessional in our Adjustment program and am excited to work with all grades this year as the PBIS teacher. I recently graduated from Merrimack College with a degree in history and a minor in education. When I’m not at school, I enjoy watching football and relaxing with my dog.
