Mr. Renna

Hello, my name is Christopher Renna . I am the art teacher at Sullivan Middle School.  Visual art has been a passion of mine since I was a young child. I particularly enjoy drawing, painting, and videography.  Learning new art techniques and approaches is a constant source of accomplishment for me and often informs my teaching.  During art class students will find that they are able to express themselves through a wide variety of media, which may include collage, line art, paint, pencil, charcoal, oil pastel, chalk, clay, and other materials.

Outside of school I like to spend time with my family, friends, and nature.  My young son and wife are both accomplished artists. I often perform and write music for guitar and piano for all genres of music including jazz, folk, rock, blues, and classical.  I also enjoy filming local wildlife, and collecting soundscapes in nature to share on my YouTube channel.

Ms. Fiorentino

My name is April Fiorentino and I am excited to be joining the Sullivan Middle School this year as a Physical Education Teacher. Previously, I spent four years as a Special Education Teacher and have always had a passion for fitness. I believe incorporating physical activity into your daily life is essential in promoting overall wellness. I’m excited about working with and getting to know students, staff and parents this school year.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my dogs Jack and Pebbles as well as visiting my many nieces and nephews. I also enjoy boxing, weight lifting, reading and volunteering with a local dog rescue.
