  • Hi everyone,
Our teachers have been working hard with the leadership to meet everyone's very unique needs and schedules. Here is a schedule of the "Welcome Back" Family Forums for this coming week. There is one for each grade level so that you can meet the teachers, but there is also one that is midday for all grade levels in order to accommodate families who can't log on for an evening session. The Central Office is providing a virtual meeting link that can serve larger numbers of people; I will send it out as soon as I get it.
I hope that this is a helpful...more to come as we get closer to the first day of school!

  • Dear STEM Families,

A member of our school community has tested positive for COVID-19.  Our first responsibility is to keep our students and staff safe. We immediately informed families whose students were at risk of exposure or in close contact, and will continue to support the affected family as they navigate this stressful experience.

We cannot provide specific information about our community member who tested positive.  However, unless you are notified by the local Health Department, you are not considered a close contact of the affected school community member (defined as being within 6 feet of the person for at least 15 minutes).  The school community member who tested positive was last in contact with STEM community members on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.  Please continue to monitor your child for symptoms, and keep your child home if he/she/they show any symptoms or is not feeling well.

    Be well,

    Dr. Henry
