The first day of school for students in grades 1-12 is Tuesday August 29. Students in PreK and Kindergarten will start on Tuesday September 5.

Bus passes for students in grades K-4 were mailed out yesterday (Aug. 23) so keep an eye out for those. Students in grades 5-8 do not receive a physical bus pass. Information about their bus assignments can be found on the Bus Lookup Tool on the district’s transportation page: https://www.lowell.k12.ma.us/transportation

Lowell High School students will be granted FREE Charlie Cards to ride the LRTA buses. Those will be distributed in the cafeteria during the first week of school.

If you know anyone who is new to Lowell or has a Kindergarten student who has not yet registered for school, please tell them to register online: https://www.lowell.k12.ma.us/Domain/84 or come to the Family Resource Center at 151 Merrimack St. where we can assist them in multiple languages. The FRC has extended their hours from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. until September 5.
We will also be open Saturday August 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
