• LHS AFJROTC Awards Night

Another amazing night recognizing cadets for their achievements through national and local awards.

LHS welcomed an amazing guest speaker - prior LHS AFJROTC cadet and Veteran Danny Soto.

Many scholarships were awarded; giving the limelight to our seniors, and giving them each a medallion to wear at graduation

MSgt Kevin Casilli was recognized for his 15 years of service to the AFJROTC.

We want to highlight a very special award presented to Cadet William Correa. He received the AFJROTC Silver Valor Award for helping prevent a suicide, by stepping in immediately and getting help for a friend that was afraid to bring this to anyone’s attention.  This award goes to a cadet for a voluntary act of heroism and it is the 2nd highest award in AFJROTC.  Officer Renee Lehmann was the one that brought his heroic act to us to get approval from headquarters AFJROTC for Cadet Correa to receive this award.
