• The Lowell High School Science Club

The Science Club is made up of students in grades 9 through 12 who are interested in science, would like to meet other students with the same interest to pursue science related activities, and who want to expand their knowledge in the sciences.

The club holds regular meetings on the last Thursday of every month.

The meetings consist of a business meeting, during which plans for the club are discussed, and committees are organized for upcoming activities. This is followed by a science program and refreshments.

During the year the Science Club runs special programs in science, participates in Science League competitions monthly with other schools in the West Suburban Science League, and participates in the State Science Olympiad. We have a Holiday party and other club activities. We are interested in any science-related hobbies our members might have.

If you or a group of you have any such related science interests, you might like to present a science program at one of our meetings.

If so, you can see Mrs. Steinberg in room 643.

This year we will be working on student generated projects for the district, regional, and state science fairs.

If you enjoyed STEM Club at your middle school, please consider joining Science Club.
