The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is a national organization with registered "chapters" at schools around the country. Each chapter or club provides opportunities for students to make a difference in their school and greater community through service projects that are art-focused. Members of NAHS must exhibit outstanding scholarship in the visual arts, care about their classes at school, are able to volunteer after school, and are open to working as a team to accomplish goals. Being a member of NAHS is a valuable addition to your college application, provides opportunities to participate in art exhibitions, and apply for scholarships, in addition to being part of a group that is making a difference in its community.
