The Facilities Department is dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and the entire school community. We oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and general upkeep of all school buildings across the district. Our team of custodians, maintenance staff, and facilities coordinators work diligently to ensure that every classroom, hallway, restroom, and outdoor space is conducive to learning and free from hazards.
Key responsibilities of the Facilities Department include:
- Routine cleaning and sanitation of all school facilities
- Liaison for the school department to DPW
- Managing the work order request system
- Monitors the facility request, BMS and EMS systems
- Managing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinating facility improvements, renovations, and capital projects
- Providing support for special events and school functions
