About Our Department
The Office of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment oversees planning, implementation and evaluation of the district’s curriculum, ensuring that the Lowell Public Schools curricular areas are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and the Lowell Public Schools Curriculum Guides. The Office of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment also coordinates Research, Testing & Assessment in the Lowell Public Schools and guides the district in the use of our X2 student information system.
