• Emergency Licensure Support and Resources

    Lowell Teacher Academy has been connected with our Emergency Licensure Regional Center at Stonehill College, funded by DESE to support Emergency license holders.  

    The supports include vouchers for taking the MTELs, coaches to help develop a plan for one’s goal(s), and MTEL prep courses available that offer guidance, all at NO COST to the participant.

    Join us at the Lowell Teacher Academy for MTEL Mondays:

    • Review different types of exam questions

    • Practice with example questions

    • Create an effective study plan

    Monday, January 6: Communication & Literacy (C&L) Reading
    Monday, January 13: C&L Reading
    Monday, February 3: C&L Writing
    Monday, February 10: C&L Writing

    Time: 4:30 – 5:30 pm

    Location: Virtual via Google Meet

    Come to one, a few, or all sessions—each will offer different practice and review, so you can tailor your study plan to your needs!
