Any Massachusetts resident between the ages of 16 - 21 can apply, but Lowell residents are given first priority as required by our charter.

The Lowell Middlesex Academy Charter School (LMACS) is a public high school that targets at-risk adolescents who have officially dropped out of high school or who are seriously at risk of doing so.

LMACS accepts students throughout the school year.
