Developmental Screening

  • The Lowell Public Schools provides monthly developmental screenings to children between the ages of birth to 5 years old.

Parents may request a developmental screening if they are concerned about their child’s development. Developmental screening – provides a snapshot of your child’s development.

Screening consists of vision and hearing screenings as well as a developmental screening of a child’s social, emotional, physical, and language development.

Monthly screenings are conducted on the first Monday of the month during the school year at the NFI Family Resource Center located at 27 Prescott Street, Lowell. Screening generally takes an hour and is provided free by appointment. Please call Susan LaCroix at 978-674-2050 or email to set up a time.
