Transfer Request Information

Families are eligible to request a transfer to a different school each year. Families who request a transfer to a different school will be placed in a lottery. Transfers will be based on the number of available seats at each school.
How the process works: Families who request a transfer will be placed into a lottery that is held during the last week of June. Requests received by the end of the school year will be eligible for the transfer lottery. Transfer requests will be honored based on space availability and the lottery is weighted. Requests received after the last day of school will be honored in the order they are received. Placements from the transfer lottery will continue until the 20th day of school.
In accordance with the District Policy on transfers, school transfer placements concluded on the 20th day of school, and the waitlist has also closed. Families may request transfers for the next school year starting from February 1, 2025, to be added to the waitlist for next year's transfers.
