Parents Notice of Procedural Safeguards
Under the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) 2004 the Procedural Safeguards Notice informs parents about their rights and protections to be involved in planning their child's special education.
Under state and federal law school districts must follow the laws when deciding if a student is eligible for special education and, if eligible what services the student will receive.
These laws also enforce procedures to ensure your child receives free and appropripate public education (FAPE)
